Just started trying to combat scan and I am honing my skills as we speak but I can not find one for the life of me lol. Where are the better places to look for MTU's in the Eve Galaxy? Thank you very much...

Any mission hub really - though the bigger hubs tend to have bigger white-knights and/or competition.

Ralph's list is a good start.

The dead swans lay in the stagnant pool. They lay. They rotted. They turned Around occasionally. Bits of flesh dropped off them from Time to time. And sank into the pool's mire. They also smelt a great deal.

Most of my MTU kills have been in Umokka (Caldari Navy L4 mission hub) and a couple in Ruvas which is right next door.

Any major L4 mission system (SoE, Caldari Navy, Amarr Navy, etc) and the surrounding two or three systems around them are the best areas. I have also found them in mining systems since mining fleets are using them now.

I have one of my tabs set to (Ships + MTU + probes) and that is it. When I land in system, I switch to that tab and do a directional scan. If nothing, then I warp to the sun...and spamming that scan button the whole way. Then I warp to 0 at the gate I want to go through and spam the scan button on the way there. Unless it is a large system, I then move to the next one.

Eventually you will find one. Just keep looking.

Once you find one, pin it down and save location. Warp to it and then switch to that tab and spam directional scan at 360 degrees at whatever range you want. Be aware of anyone coming into range and also combat probes that are not your own. I lost a Confessor scanning down another MTU while a Hecate scanned me down, so always be aware but that was the only time they came after me and that was Bhedorspot (spelling?) next to Simela (L1-3 SoE mission hub).

Good luck. Message me when you get your first one.

I have been frequenting Osmon and surrounding systems - but the locals are beginning to wise up a bit. Maybe time to circulate hunting grounds periodically...

Yeah... Dresi.
Sorry about that.
My lazy ass didn't want to move for more than a few months.
My bad.

Beyond that...
Venilen and the surrounding areas.
Aphend, Ashab, Penirgman, Pimbekka.
Hentogaira and the surrounding areas may also yield results.

All of those spots in addition to those listed by others.

Come hell or high water, this sick world will know I was here.

Yeah. Aunia. I got tired of losing MTUs in Aunia, so I literally packed up everything I owned a moved 34 jumps away. I'm in Room 2, with my MTU doing its thing in Room 1, and "bing," someone kills it. I get ones that are literally left alone, but come on. I was 40k kilometers away. haha

Well next time, kill them - what is the worst that could happen?

Worst that could happen? They render my shiny Raven to a twisted hunk of metal. haha If I had lots and lots of isk, I'd be more adventuresome, but I can't afford to replace a 600mil isk ship defending a 10mil isk piece of equipment. :)
