Okay Miss Kim, real talk it is.

I've stood up for you in the past Miss Kim, and I'll continue to do so in the future. Both sides of the fence have thrown enough grievances at each other enough already, and the only fact I'm sure of is that this whole "eye for an eye" thing has spiraled out of control enough that DED felt the need to intervene. I want to stop that hammer from falling on your head, or anyone's for that matter.

You are easy to provoke and even easier to get a reaction out of you. I'm not saying you shouldn't continue fighting or showing animosity towards your foes and enemies, but sometimes you need to bite your tongue.

If you have a grudge against Miss Makoto, that's your business and your reasons, and you can continue to broil on your feud with her. But following her around, derailing public announcements and other threads just to call her out of what she did in the past?

I mean, is there a need to call her a liar while she's announcing a breakthrough in the her fight against the Drifters? Or when she is showing the latest results of her research, or she showing support to another capsuleer effort? Even in this very thread, she was presenting her opinion and your first reaction to this was calling her an hypocrite, out of context of what she was saying. And after her reaction, which was just blunt disbelief, you continued battering her.

That is very petty and you are better than this. Both you and Miss Makoto can be the better person and ignore each other mutually, but how many topics and discussions have to die before you sate your bloodlust for petty revenge?

Imagine if I started following Miss Funk around and started calling her a backstabbing heartless harpy at every opportunity? And made every effort to remind everyone of that fact constantly? Does she deserve it? Of course she does. Should I do that then? Of course not. But that is exactly what you are doing now against Miss Makoto, so should I follow your example?

All I ask of you Miss Kim, is to be reasonable and stop killing the IGS with your pride. We've lost so much as it already.

The crux of the matter here is that I scratched Miss Funk's name off my friend list.

1) Are you going just to annoy and troll me, offering what I have stated I don't need in the post you have replied to? Maybe I had to write it in red text, that

So could you please at least TRY to read what are you replying to. Or is it your official policy, when you are requested 'X', you deny selling it. When customers tell you they don't need 'X' anymore you shove it to their noses? Good business, I assume?


2) I have a principle, that I treat everyone fairly, including enemies. Yes, I have a lot to fight against you for, but I won't fight against you instead of Makoto. Even if she has executed your orders, it was her decision, and it is for her to reply for what she did... and for you to reply for what you did. Every soldier knows, that they bear consequences for executing orders, was it lawful or not. And I hope you know a lot of evidences from Caldari history how soldiers have executed order and then committed suicide because they dishonored themselves by doing so, or submitted themselves to tribunal.

If I would fight you not for your deeds, but for Makoto's, I will violate my own principles of fairness and justice and I would never forgive myself for such outrageous and unfair act.


3) As for your orders to Makoto...
I have no complaints to you on this part. My goal was to grab your alliance into our coalition. But despite Makoto shoved me away, my plan has succeeded. I have reached my goal, and if you remember it, we were sitting in the same board of directors, while Makoto was left outside.


4) As for Makoto herself. It doesn't mean what your order she has executed, and I have no complaints to her either (as I said in 3, because my goal was achieved anyway). This is a question of how she executed it. Because she publically LIED about me. And did it several times. Have you read the reference I have been linking? That's written there. Moreover, she continued lying about me even when she wasn't under your command.

It is not my conflict, Makoto started it, and she keeps it going. I just link facts she herself provided me with. I am fighting a liar with truth and I will continue doing it as long as reputation of my uniform and Caldari State are at the risk. Don't you dare to ask me to stop the fight if the aggressor doesn't wish to stop it.


5) And finally... We have our own axes to grind, and if you feel you want to put your honor for this, then be my guest. My offer is probably quite known already: I accept fight either on ships or in person on any weapon you'd like. Fight to the death. Whomever wins or loses, shall not mention the conflict (that caused the duel) ever again, as it never happened. However, it doesn't clean name of your corporation. For example, if we will fight because you signed blue pact with Q-CATS, it means I will never blame you personally in this, but I will leave my right to blame your corporation in this... though it is quite bad example, since it is not matter of honor, and you all shall be executed for collaboration with enemy according to Caldari Navy code.

Actually, lets raise it to all personal conflicts we had, whatever I complaints had to you personally and you had personally to me, they all will be forgotten if we fight. (Of course, that will stay just between our persons, nothing in relations between me and your corporation, or between you and Caldari State or CMC will change). Oh, and it still doesn't mean I will close my eyes if I spot any your further blue pacts with enemy!

Feds are scum. But those, who do business with them are worse than scum.

Thank you Miss Kim. A little restrain in exercising our right for freedom of speech goes a long way in making IGS a better place for everyone. Facts are a cornerstone on the path to the Truth, but there is a time and a place for everything, including facts.

But restraint and mutual respect are a two-way road. We can hope Miss Makoto can also show the same restraint I'm asking of you, and avoid posting further unprovoked libel and defamation of you and your beliefs. For the best results, the two of you should stop acknowledging the other's existence for a time. But if it comes to a point where you feel the need to intervene on Miss Makoto's words (like denouncing her position of Tibus Heth's status as a Caldari hero), you are free to do so as long as you maintain a certain amount of civility fit for a civilized thoughtful human being posting on IGS. As you are free to dislike Miss Makoto for what she did to you in the past.

Because despite our newfound mutual understanding, I'm not a fan of Miss Makoto myself, due to past grievances. And albeit I still struggle with my urges of murdering her coldblooded, which haven't fully subsided, I know I must show some decor to avoid raising unnecessary tensions (and make it all the more easy to plot her imminent demise at a later date).

I hope we can turn this situation around and lift the dark clouds that have been hovering over IGS lately. I really do.
