I mean, obviously. It's not like anyone actually adjusts market orders frequently in a high-volume environment. Anyone who does? Bot. Banning them won't even scratch the economy; make it so!

There's clearly no difference, right? Bots are just automated programs that adjust market orders in a EULA-breaking manner, while scammers are just players interacting with other players without violating the EULA. Pretty much the same.

OCR and intelligent pattern randomization makes bot undetectable from server side, only way to detect if it runs 24/7, I assume CCP security don't act to prevent this. Also bots usually run on 500m+ market with high margin low competition.

No. What will happen is people who are undercutting you will get reported. And if they are bots they will get banned. If they arent bots then CCP will have to keep flipping through reports by disgruntled market PVPers who are upset someone is undercutting them



Basically. The high risk of false positives from bad feelings kind of high here. Too high I'd say.


A player will only see their timeframe. I am on for say 4 hours....its the only window I see. And thats if I can be assed to stay in market stations I might have orders in. Gonna say no to that. I sell in jita mostly, my pve work area as it were is outside of that region.

What I drop off is left till can be assed to check later. I am down to one account, don't have the luxury of client swapping theses days. And have better things to do with the main that make log off/log in changes to the trade alt account all night long not worth the effort.

Basically I'd be skeptical of my own reporting of a bot....why the hell would I have ccp burn their time checking my claim. I know some are going well I can smell a bot a mile away. Good for you, really. Now factor in the work load for checking the reports of the 100's if not 1000's of us who don't have those keen detective skills. Or are just pissed off players because another seller is not scared to use ye old "free mats" mindset in pricing.
