Intergalactic Summit

Greetings pilots of the Intergalactic Summit:

As you may know, the Villore Assembly was formed this year to bring together capsuleers of various backgrounds to consult and participate in the shaping of policies, actions, and proposals to influence the politics and events happening inside the Gallente Federation. Due to extensive relief efforts and political lobbying, we helped end the decades-long civil war inside the Lirsautton system, on the homeworld of the Jin-Mei, Chandeille.

In response to the efforts of Taishou Xun Yu, the Villore Assembly has appointed him to the role of Vice Chair. In the absence of Chairwoman Rinai Vero, he has reorganized the Villore Assembly and issued an Agenda which has been approved by the consent of the Assembly delegates.

As part of this Agenda, we are funding a contest for a Villore Assembly logo, to be displayed in public places, as part of press releases, and in other official functions. The rules of the contest follow below:

1. Should be scalable to multiple resolutions and sizes;
2. Must represent the values and traditions of Federation democracy and the Assembly's efforts to participate in it;
3. Should not be racially specific to any one member state of the Federation;
4. Should either use the letters V and A to represent the name of the Assembly, or the full words, Villore Assembly;
5. All submissions must be presented to Julianus Soter and Vice Chair Xun Yu by 31st day of this month.

Rewards for the selected logo is 500 million ISK, with 200 million ISK presented to an honorable mention that also conforms to these rules.

The winning logo will be selected by vote of the Villore Assembly.

Forgive me, normally I am a cynic, but it is inspiring to see the Assembly come unto its own.

While ‘we’ don’t always agree, everyone has a voice, regardless of outcome each perspective is considered.

Soon through the creative efforts of those involved this common voice will have a symbol.

The entries we have presently are all quite spectacular, our choice is going to be difficult indeed!

But there is still time for you to submit more entries, as the competition closes on the 31/08 in 3 days.

At present two submissions, though I know of at least two other artists that are attempting to finish a submission by the deadline and have seen draft sketches - I must admit they put my own meagre talents to shame.
