Are you logging in from inside the game client itself? It won't work otherwise. Also, you are likely to only have the account that this character is on (unless you know for sure that your team captain provided names for both.)

Finally got time to try getting into thunderdome

I get invalid user name /password - am I on this list Logibro?

Seems somehow your name slipped through the cracks. It's on the export list now, but won't be active until Friday unless I manage to get an extra export this week.

On a better note, the Tournament Tool is now open for teams to use. See the guide here for details on how to use it.

If you're referring to some systems missing the team beacons, this is now by design. We now just teleport you to points in space where the beacons normally would be, so we no longer need the team beacons.

I'm pretty sure it isn't. However, the tournament tool picks a random nebula when you create a match that is activated when you turn on the camera tool if you feel like mixing it up. (The Nebula is consistent across all camera clients for any given match)

I'd just like to say a huge thank you to Mr Logibro, Thunderdome has provided all teams with the best practice environment we've ever had and the tournament tool is utterly amazing. We were amazed at the fantastic functionality that the tournament tool provides, after a short read of your guide we were zooming around boundary violating to our hearts content.

I can't imagine how many hours of work have gone into getting this all in place but on behalf of NC. I'd like to thank you, not only for your effort in getting this working but also for your support and help in getting everyone onto the server and explaining everything.

You can just join the fleet with any ship. The referee can then override the errors he gets because of too many points / too many people / bad ship and move you anyways.

Then you just warp to the arena at 0 and cloak up with /shipcloak

Fancy UI is only available for the guys with "privileged" accounts as far as I know.

Also, if you have access to the referee / camera tool, you can just teleport to the same system yourself before the referee presses "start match" and then do all the fancy camera stuff

At present, there's no way for anyone that's not on a team or a referee to get into the arena systems. However, I could add two of the systems to the /moveme list, allowing anyone to enter if they want. Would you guys want me to do this? (There will still be 30 private systems you can use)

In other news, I've just deployed another build today that should hopefully fix the issue where some matches aren't showing up as in progress already, matches that were in progress and reset (such as due to DC) disappear, and should hopefully make the referee tool a lot quicker to open (A misplaced sleep may have been responsible for that one '>.>)

New version (1.1) of the guide is available here (the one in the first post will eventually update, but CDN caching means it will take a while)

Since Yesterday Me and a couple of my Teammates including my Team Captain have a bug where we cant log in to TD.
In the Server List a "Checking..." Message is displayed at the TD entries instead of a Number. also the TD entry is duplicated.

The Error is still there after the download of todays TD patch.

here is a link to a Screenshot I made of my Server List. ( I redacted the Numbers of the TQ, SiSi and Duality entries in case they are security sensitive)

Edit: we found the Bug. I had to remove the start argument x=thunderdome in the Launcherlink. that was the source of the bug.
