hello guys,


I recently resubbed after not playing seriously for years now.

back in the day i used to love solo roaming around low sec in my triangle of doom.

Can anyone give me a rundown of why its sh*t now?

Can it still brawl? What would I be better off flying if i wanted to brawl? Vexor?

Its not that ****, it just isnt as good as the vexor or the caracal. It loses to a lot of the meta stuff and has trouble killing other stuff, but so does the vexor. Its still ok for roaming in, but it no longer is the one that can beat them all. Its just does little dps without a great tank. It also lost a neut which was huge anti frig tech.

Its main loss is that is isnt a svipul.


So yes, fly a vexor or a svipul. Or a confessor, or hecate.

As Wolf mentions its not terrible and the utility neut is a nice addition but the Vexor in identical configurations (dual rep, no damage mods etc) does almost twice the damage whilst having the same tank. Not to mention you can simply drop a gun and get more dps, the same tank and a neut.

That said the Rupture is a far more engageable target than a lone Vexor and you can potentially exploit this for some nice kills as a result.

And I'll take that as a damning condemnation of the game balance. Small, fast and more dps than some cruisers.
