Just suspect status, that's all!

Today, I notched up my 100th MTU kill - not much compared to those who've been at it for a lot longer than I, but immensely satisfying nonetheless! The tears are an added bonus, although I have to admit that lately most of my 'clients' have been Russian and whilst their invective was no doubt impressive, it was wasted on me.

Here are a couple of fits you could try - try with a T3D first and then move onto the Tengu as you gain confidence. Adjust to taste; for my needs, I required an all-in-one scanning package with decent DPS and a good-ish tank to deflect incoming fire from both rats and angry locals:

[Jackdaw, Seagull]
Ballistic Control System II
Ballistic Control System II

5MN Y-T8 Compact Microwarpdrive
Missile Guidance Computer II
Missile Guidance Computer II
Warp Scrambler II
Caldari Navy Medium Shield Extender
Small Ancillary Shield Booster

Rocket Launcher II

Sisters Expanded Probe Launcher

Small Low Friction Nozzle Joints I
Small Warhead Calefaction Catalyst I
Small Capacitor Control Circuit II

Mjolnir Rage Rocket x5000
Navy Cap Booster 25 x200
Sisters Combat Scanner Probe x16
Scourge Rage Rocket x2875
Nova Rage Rocket x5000
Inferno Rage Rocket x4500

320 DPS, 1500m/s cold. Not a bad place to start, and cheap if you mess up.

[Tengu, Ahoy Hoy]
Ballistic Control System II
Ballistic Control System II
Ballistic Control System II
Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System

Gistum C-Type 50MN Microwarpdrive
Thukker Large Cap Battery
Warp Scrambler II
Stasis Webifier II
Adaptive Invulnerability Field II
'Copasetic' Particle Field Acceleration
Pith X-Type Large Shield Booster

Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II

Medium Warhead Rigor Catalyst II
Medium Capacitor Control Circuit II
Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I

Tengu Electronics - Emergent Locus Analyzer
Tengu Defensive - Amplification Node
Tengu Engineering - Capacitor Regeneration Matrix
Tengu Offensive - Accelerated Ejection Bay
Tengu Propulsion - Fuel Catalyst

Scourge Javelin Heavy Assault Missile x3000
Sisters Combat Scanner Probe x18
Scourge Rage Heavy Assault Missile x1264

This is what I'm using now (replace the Fuel Catalyst with the Nanofibres subsystem, left over from an old build). 640 DPS with my skills, 1190m/s cold. Cap stable! 965hp every 3 secs - more than enough to tank whatever the room (or the odd irate bear) throws at you.

If you need any pointers mail me - happy to help :)

I'd recommend a confessor over a jackdaw personally. You can fit an expanded probe launcher and a cloak. The cloak is very very handy when scanning/waiting out timers.

And yes it can be very lucrative

+1 to confessor. it's a lot of fun too. I dropped into someone's mission last night. They were busy with NPC's so I switched to Propulsion mode and raced to the MTU. Jackpot! Lots of goodies inside for the taking. Loot all, zip out or stay and see what happens.

Dafuq, are people dying in their missions and then just going back without looting their valuables XD?

It's very rude on Concord to get involved.
I was just minding my own business and blew up another MTU. No harm done. Very little loot this time.
So I decided to clear the crime scene and blow up the wreckage. Out of nowhere appears a Concord Police Captain!
He relieved me of my ship, but didn't get my pod. So it's ok to blow one up, but leave the wreckage alone?

What better? Why, ninja salvaging AND ninja looting!

Zappity's Adventures for a taste of lowsec and nullsec.

For me the point is all the accolades and profession of love seen in local chat while I am clearing illegally anchored structures.

People you have got to stop littering in space!
