Likely? Unlikely?

Sounds like it could be good! Thoughts anyone?

I don't know how likely it is. I am dubious about the idea, I just imagine all those folks watching the show, coming to try EVE, then leaving in disgust because the game is nothing like the show they watched.

They would need to keep it realistic...you know like:

Hero un-docks...hero decideds to do some mining...hero spends 45 minutes filling his hold with ore because he doesn't really understand what else there is to do (CUE ELEVATOR MUSIC)...hero gets wasted by care bear hunter.

NEXT EPISODE! ...A new hero stupidly jumps into a wormhole because it looks interesting.Cry

Like DESTINY didn't work I guess....I tried that back when I was on console....dire, dire effort...the game and the tie in series.

BUT...EVE could be different!! think of the influx of new eager pilots!! Shocked

Here is your trailer, right here

The dead swans lay in the stagnant pool. They lay. They rotted. They turned Around occasionally. Bits of flesh dropped off them from Time to time. And sank into the pool's mire. They also smelt a great deal.

I very much doubt this will ever see the light of day. Reason, this would cost money, not make it, which in return means less money for Hilmar's new jesus feature, VR.

They use time and resources for this kind of things instead of improving and updating the game.

Now I understand events, dailies and so on...no time and effords on them...too busy to prepare television series...

I want to cry....

That is one of my personal favourites as well - and one of the ones that inspired me to start using mining ships and other underpowered vessels back in the days when they weren't buffed to the same combat capabilities as Heavy Assault Cruisers and it was actually a challenge.

The dead swans lay in the stagnant pool. They lay. They rotted. They turned Around occasionally. Bits of flesh dropped off them from Time to time. And sank into the pool's mire. They also smelt a great deal.

Wow, that sounds super action-packed, where there's no areas or vehicles in which you can sit still for long, relatively safe from others. What game is this you refer to?

I think this sounds amazing and would be a HUGE draw to the game.
TV shows like this while entertaining are nothing more than product commercials and it would be a huge boon for Eve online.

You do realise that production of this series is being handled by Scott Free Studios, not CCP, right? CCP are basically consultants and source material on this, nothing more. No time or effort is being taken away from game development by this series.
