Because fitting and ship choices.

I been running the 4 T2 scan frigs since late 2010, never hed the need for nor can I even begin to understand how or why you would need MWD on a scan ship especially one that can use the cov-ops cloak. However since you claim that you NEED a MWD I submit this for your consideration, posted in EFT format.

Yes it sacrifices a low slot to a fitting mod, and yes I know you already stated that was not a good thing. I agree with the rest the Buzzard is fine as it is, if it does not suit your specific needs there are three other ships in the class to try and there is always the T3 cruisers at least one of those ships will meet your needs.

In short -1 to your idea for more PG on the T2 scan frigates.

The combination of covert ops cloak, high natural agility, and 5mn MWD makes you pretty much impossible to catch unless you don't know how to fly your ship. That's why it requires some fitting compromises to fit the 5mn MWD.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

I don't think it needs one. If you want one, then give up a slot for a fitting mod or an implant that allows you to do what you want.



Running good bubble camps without an mwd doesn't end well. It needs one alright.

What can a T2 can frigate like the Buzzard do in a bubble camp that cannot be done better by other ships or other classes of ships?

A good pilot can get through a good bubble camp even with an AB. It's all a matter of knowing how to fly your covops.
