Citadel warfare exploit

So the other day i noticed an exploit where a citadel can not shoot a suspect player in high sec that is directly assisting in a war(IE repairing a war target). had a small group i'm at war with attack while a bunch of their natural friends repaired them to negate my drones, launchers and i could not attack them with my citadel even though i could have probably taken them out with energy nutes or something. would love to see that fixed since we are a small corp and can hardly defend our self as it is from random wars.

Was your gunner's safety set to red?

You can't change citadel safety in high-sec I already tried that. It's no problem in low sec though.

Ideally you'd want to be able to target neutral reppers that are suspect flagged. But I bet the reason you can't is to prevent things like bait cans outside citadels as a pastime for bored citadel gunners, not that such a thing would ever happen in eve...

Then perhaps if you rep someone at war you should temporary become their allies for a day (just the one person not their corp) and face the same risk as those at war, on top of the suspect flag.

This is clearly a bug, file a bug report and a ticket under exploit.

They need to be CONCORDED so the highsec carebears are safe of course! Add in CONCORD killing the wardeccers too because they're psychopaths that eats babies iRL!

Sorry for my ignorance here, but did CCP change something where you cant shoott at suspect logi anymore? Last i knew they were completely fair game to engage. Sorry i dont see a fubdamental issue with suspect logi since they are fair game for agression. I suppose you need more friends or more accounts.

Also I would assume if you can't shoot suspect I would guess CCP probably has all Highsec Cit's lockedt to green making them impossible to shoot suspects. Since you can't change it maybe it was an oversight, or someway to keep people from yolo'ing Highsec Cits to concord as a form off griefing.


Though it would be funny to see ganking with Citadels come out of this. Lol

Well tbh i think it would be fair for a citadel to shoot at suspects... But you will run into a bunch of cry babies that get a limited agression with the citadel, reship from logi, wait out suspect timer, and then proceed to bash the citadel. You just created a whole new problem by doing so.

Obviously the only rational solution is to eliminate war decs and give everyone free citadels. Oh, and new pve content. Yeah that.
