We all know that the Unidentified Wormholes lead somewhere but we are unable to access them. The bigger question is why aren't we able to drop probes and scan down the warp to location of the Drifter BB's that can be seen warping to and from the Unidentified Wormholes?

The Drifters must be be doing something at the end point location or they wouldn't warp off and then back to the UW. After they assisting Circadians at an off site location with the Circadian's mysterious scans? What are the Drifter BB warping off to and then back from?

I've been through plenty of unidentified wormholes...

Go in and have a look, it's a pretty interesting place

I have been in W-Space through the use of regular scanned down wormholes. I actually had a POS up at one time as well.

I tried entering one of the Unidentified Wormholes in a Pod but couldn't.

When did you try, for a time you couldn't enter them but they opened them ages ago. Inside you will find an SoE flotilla. Worth just dropping by one to see it.

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."
