Where are the ' logfiles stored if there is no 'repair.exe.log' that is locatable under search??

I think right where it says but that file is a temp file that is deleted when the repair tool shuts down.

BTW ... I am also running Windows 7, 64 bit (NOT VISTA) and I HAVE tried running the repair tool with Admin rights ...

oh and btw ... I do have the computer plugged in too!

... anyways ... I did a full reinstall and all works fine now ... til the next patch anyways ...

The contents of this folder will probably have been purged by the time you read this, but I would have loved to get a copy of the log that it wrote out. That would have helped narrow down the error that you were having.

that was all that was in the log file.

File "repair.py", line 270, in module - this line i modded however, the forum does not allow html. the word module was in anchor tags "<" and ">".

I just got the same problem. I was actually logged in, and wanted to grab some iskies from the main toon. As i opened the client i got the "Verification fail".

I tried running the repair. It failed.
It asked me to update repair.exe <-- failed
So i ran repair as admin. Works now.
