CCP decided that this incentive wasn't worthwhile because it didn't guarantee you'd get blown up by the griefer class. They are working on a new incentive that's only realistically available to veterans piloting titans.

Cry more lttle carebear.

As a HiSec 'carebear' it did impact how much I logged in, and I usually stayed for an hour at least so it did up my gameplay time. However, I know there was a lot of complaints from the vets with Old School characters with just time in game, so that and the fact that it was probably far more successful than CCP imagined at doling out SP's is probably what doomed it.

They would've been a little smarter just to knock it down to 5K SP per day rather than kill it altogether. It would still be somewhat worthwhile to do if you had the spare time to log in, but an even lower impact on the SP sell/buy market.

I was actually thinking about the effect on skill injector price. Its very dis proportionate. You can train 1 mill ish sp in a month for 950 mill(plex) and a skill injector with 400k sp costs 700m. Costs will only keep going up. SP shortage big time.

It's a chuckle, but at the same time, underlines an issue. When a player feels forced to log in more than they'd normally want to, whether by stick (losing corp membership) or by yummy yummy yummy SP carrot, eventually you're going to accelerate long-term player burnout. That's probably the opposite of what's desired, even if a short-term boost in numbers happens.

Hey there,

The Patch Notes are right here. Take a look.

Otherwise, locked.
