The Oddities of Sorting D-Scan by Distance

I believe we all first want to know what objects are on-grid with us, and then what is in-system with us. When you sort your D-Scan results ascending by distance, however, objects off-grid are treated as if they are 0 meters away; and thus are placed at the top of the list. To place objects on-grid at the top of the list, you have to sort descending by distance; which has the odd effect of putting the furthest on-grid object at the top of the list.

It would be very helpful (and sensible too!) if off-grid objects were treated as infinitely far away, instead of adjacent, so they sort properly by distance in one's D-Scan results window.

Thanks!

Whilst you're incorrect, the only reason i d-scan is to see whats NOT on grid,it would still be sensible to sort it as though they were infinitely away. I can put things in reverse order.

EVE FAQ "7.2 CAN I AVOID PVP COMPLETELY? No; there are no systems or locations in New Eden where PvP may be completely avoided"

This.

I don't need d-scan to tell me what's on grid, I have an overview for that. I want d-scan to tell me what I can't see on my overview first.
