Beta/New launcher not importing overview/settings

Since we are being forced to start using the new (terrible) beta/new launcher at the end of the month, how do you import the overview/user settings across? i've tried using the client settings import thing and it doesnt work.

Are you sure you're copying the set of settings which has the overview details in it over?

And if so, have you picked that set of settings as the one to use with that client?

The cog to the right of the account name will let you pick the set of settings. the manage settings option on that menu will let you see what sets of settings the launcher can see, both old and new. and you can give them names.


What is it about the new launcher you find terrible? Pretty much everyone else has found it a significant improvement?
