I've done a little bit of searching in this Forum, but I can't seem to get a clear, concise answer for questions I've considered asking the Devs, and that's on the matter of Seeding. It's a question that appears in multiple Threads but has no Thread unto itself... at least from what I was able to find.

Why is it that only certain Ships, and not the entire library, available for players to test and play around with? I'm also talking about Special Edition ships, including the ones from Alliance Tournaments.

Equally so, why is it that only certain Modules(and not Faction, Officer or Deadspace) are available?

Is there a risk of further cluttering up the Server with objects? Because the Citadel spam, I think, has become far more cancerous than anything else. Come to think of it, I wouldn't have a problem with the developers wiping the entire Server and starting us over from scratch. Provided that everything is Seeded.

Maybe the answer lies on the purpose of Singularity itself. At first, before ever setting foot in the Server, I had imagined that, on top of being a place where new features are tested, it was a place where Players can test fits they have in mind and play around. Having more toys in the playground also makes it more fanmade content-friendly (such as making EVE movies).

I don't have a problem with requiring Skills, but not-being able to test fits with the Skills you already have doesn't make sense to me. (In fact, I would be happy without any 2Mn Skillpoint bonus, but I know other people want them. A fantasy-feature of mine for SiSi is that you could either set your Skills to Current Points or 100% Points, to avoid even having to offer Points. But this is kind of irrelevant.)

There are ships that I may never be able to fly in Tranquility, which is fine. But it would be nice to have access to them in the playground. From my perspective, I don't see how that would be at all harmful, considering nothing that happens in SiSi affects TQ. But perhaps I can be better informed on the subject, by either Devs or Players who have been around for a while.

For the record, I'm not making demands. I'm just curious. There are things I want, sure, but I can live without them if CCP says No. Thank you

From what I can understand CCP want to try and avoid everyone running around with Faction/Deadspace/Officer fit ships when the likelyhood is the majority of pilots would be mostly T1/T2 fit with the occasional faction/deadspace/officer mods, this keeps testing somewhat balanced to what TQ is like - and there are only a select few people who have the AT ships so what would be the benefit of having them available to test with?

The Citadel spam in the mian system on Singularity is a real pain, it causes far too much lag, I know there have been some big capital brawls occasionally between the large alliances when Tranquility goes down for a while - but with the amount of citadels up, TiDi would start to kick in far too early, if Singularity is supposed to mirror some conditions of the live servers, there wouldnt be that number of citadels up in any system.

Singularity in my opinion is a limited sandbox, the server gets mirriors from l to test things that CCP are planning to implement and its a good way to get feedback from the player base into the changes through mass testing (which CCP rewards) or through solo or group testing by the players who usually submit bug reports for CCP to review.
I've been playing EVE since 2006 and have used the test server alot during that time period, mainly I use it along with other players to test new changes, as well as experimenting with fits which could be useful to alliance doctrines, I did enjoy the recent Capital testing with the skill injectors being given out to help with the testing, but currently none of my pilots on tranqulity can fly Supers or Titans, so it would be pointless at the moment to have the ability on Singularity to use them, as it provides no benefit to what I use the server for - Once the Capital change testing was over I did have alot of fun while there was the wait for a new mirror by testing fittings for Titans and Super Capitals and blowing stuff up - but again without the Faction/Deadspace/Officer fittings being available it wouldnt mirror what I would see on Tranqulity and itsnt really productive testing.

Personally, I would like to see a system where Deadspace/Faction/Officer mods where available, even if they where not on the main market, perhaps as I've seen in discussion through mass testing and a sort of LP system instead of the 2M SP that is currently given, this would avoid a flood of people using fits which are unrealistic on the Tranqulity for the majority of pilots.

Having a system in place where pilots could select a "template" character could be a really useful, something with has a set tree of skills for pilots to test out something which they may not have on Tranquility but something they may want to test in future, eg a titan skilled pilot, super skilled pilot etc with a couple of the ships related to that skillset available to that template - this could be a time limited (perhaps 30 days of use) before its reset and another template character would have to be made, maybe with a cooldown between or a limit to how many can be used to stop people over using it or flooding the server with only Titan Pilots which doesnt make testing fun.
