No more groundings. No longer will I beat my children. Don't do what mom says? Two hours in the retriever. Trouble in school? Two hours in the retriever. Lose a retriever? 2 hours in the retriever. I'm expecting positive results one way or the other.

Make sure there are no distractions, put the computer in a room that is completely empty except for a chair and desk. Board up the windows too.

Not punitive but repentant.

Catholic: Say two Hail Mary prayers.

Miner: Two hours in Retriever.

EDIT: Alternatively, mining while listening to a two hour loop of Below the Air Horns.

The sound of mining lasers will haunt your children's nightmares and in every roid they will see your face.

And in twenty odd years you will wonder why your children never visit.
Or want anything to do with you whatsoever for that matter....Evil

Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format. Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

Bet Code is just teens full of angst rebelling against their miner dads.

You can always force them to fill an Orca's ore hold using a rookie ship and civvie lasers...

    They might crack :)

I spent 2 hours in my retriever last night mining ice, not roids. Was calming and somewhat profitable. Did some Arduino coding on my other monitor. Warped out when a frisky Ishtar came in the field, was basically full anyway, but wasn't going to wait around for the punch line if it offered one. I haven't heard of a gank Ishtar but anything is possible.

Hmm. You might have to fly Anti-Ganking patrol around them while they do that. Otherwise they might just get themselves ganked straight off to escape the time out. Then you'd have to prove to mom that doing 2 hours of solo mining is actually feasible. That might be a recipe for bad failure. Of course, if you're willing to sit around a couple of hours watching bobbers, an A-G gank patrol is pretty fun, and not that difficult. No easy out for dad, there's a lot to consider. Parenting is hard, kids don't come with a handbook.

What an excellent idea! This way they can learn how to be a proper citizen from our Agents early on in their life. A child who knows the Code is a child with values and a solid foundation for it's future.
