The MASSIVE patch Gearbox has been working on for the past 6 months rolled out today and has made some huge changes to balance and brought back things like some semblance of ballistics combat and properly working formations.

They also officially are selling it on GOG too if you wanted it DRM-free.

If you were hesitating before, or were waiting to play it more, now is your time.

They also made some major back end changes to things for the sake of modders, so I'll be resuming development of the EVE mod as well (since I was waiting for this patch because of how much would be changed).

Somewhat, they take a bunch of backend work but I got this far before taking a break on the mod because of the huge patch

Watching this I am sure Homeworld was behind the idea for tactical camera introduced to EVE. Pirate

And the ships, they look like in EVE, but the space around in nothing like it, the textures are somewhat different but that is not the issue I think.

Honestly I was thinking about adding some modifications to for example Enyo and show how CCP could differentiate it visually, like it have been earlier with tech 2 variants.
