They really just don't know what the playerbase wants in terms of SKINs and don't care...

...Does CCP have any idea how many massive piles of cash they could make if only they sold SKINs that change the little logo on the ship to a different faction's? e.g. SKINs that let you replace the Amarr Empire logo on your Abaddon with a Minmatar Republic logo, or the Gallente Federation logo on your Vexor with a Caldari State logo.
They do not have to know the playerbase, they have their consultants who tell them what the playerbase has to like.

I don't know how much money they can make, but yes my faction logo on my ship regardless what type it is would be great. The next step here would be the logo of your corporation or alliance. Not to mention your own corp skin theme.

Give The BIG Lottery a try (it's conform with the EULA) and me your Fedos!

Those skins have a massive performance impact on client and server, hence CCP said they aren't going to enable those on TQ. The Serenity guys said they don't care about it and as such got those skins.

- Just repeating what I remember CCP Darwin said to this.

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.
