Player Features and Ideas Discussion

Greetings,

I have been enjoying my time in New Eden tremendously. My brother got me into this game and we have already had some crazy adventures. I wanted to share my thoughts of what I believe to be an exciting element that really needs to be revisited not just for "another mission to do" but truly an opportunity to fuse PvE with the exciting risk of PvP.

First let's talk about the Pirate Epic Arcs. Lore wise these excite me the most. It gives me an opportunity to embark on a dangerous set of missions that combine the thrill of dodging gate camps, gankers, and others who seek to kill you. Me and my brother have completed both of these for each of our characters. Why hasn't CCP expanded these to the other Pirate faction? I feel like this is such a missed opportunity. I would love to dig more into the Blood Raiders and Serpentis. Currently we can do generic missions for those factions but I like the way the epic arcs reward you by allowing you to gain massive pirate standings and generous rewards in the form of a blueprint and faction item. In addition, it has got me and my care bear brother to venture out into null sec which has been great and not near as scary as I thought it would be.

I did find it odd that I got threatened and yelled out because I was in gurista territory in venal and was told I was intruding and needed to pay taxes. I politely responded that I thought this was gurista territory and no Corp or alliance held Sov in npc regions? its not like there is a billboard that says hey your entering gurista territory but it's actually ran by this Corp? Anyway aside from that I enjoyed the null sec experience and the adrelenine pumping that goes into staying out of sight and still able to do the missions.

Anyway, thank you for reading. If CCP or anyone that has an interest in these lets revitalize interest in these epic arcs. I truly believe it's a gem of content that would allow us to explore the lore even deeper with cool rewards and get folks like me who like to do unique and interesting quests a reason to do so. Just imagine, Thukker epic arc, Sisters of Eve 2.0 does anyone know what really was going on with Sister Alitura at the end after delivery Dagan? Imagine going to npc sisters null and continuing on that journey. So many possibilities and I truly hope we get more epic arcs.
