selling ore

can one sell own ore at home base or any base what skill levels of what are needed and a link on actually putting it on the market at chosen fixed price dohhhhh

if there is a Buy order at that station, you can simply sell your ore by right click-->Sell.

The sell window will pop up. it should be turned to "immediatly". if there is a buy order in that station, it will show you the price and how good it is compared to the regional price

you can sell ore at any markets. just be aware of prices they fluctuate between different markets.

You don't need any skills to be able to sell items, but there are some trade skills that reduce the taxes you pay or give you the ability to place more concurrent orders. You can sell your items in any station provided that you transport them there (and have access to off load your items there). You can either sell to "buy" orders (the ability to sell immediately for ISK) or you can create a sell order... but that requires someone else to come along and buy from you, which might take time. You will also need to update your order to ensure that it is not undercut by others.

Yeah it's a PLAYER ECONOMY, so you can sell ore immediately if some other player has set up a buy for it, at the station where you are. Or you can set up your own sell order, and hope that someone agrees to it. There's no guarantee; you're dealing with players not with NPC vendors.

The Trade skills reduce taxes or let you set up your buy and sell orders from far away (within a region).

EDIT: Right-click the ore, choose "view market details" to see offered prices, then right-click the ore again and choose "sell this." It will match the best price it can see, but you can put your price in.

EDIT2: People buy ore to refine it. YOU can also refine it and sell the resulting minerals. People can trick you into selling your ore for cheap, where you could make more by selling the minerals. Right-click the ore and choose "reprocess", so you can see what minerals you would get. Then you can "view market details" for all the minerals to compare prices.
