Where's the troll image when you need it.

Basically, someone is making a lot of money right now. Bear

Seriously who would even care except the manipulator? It could go up 10000% and it wouldnt matter because the voume is so small.

Your market manip attempt?

What surge in prices? The price has been rather stable for the past couple of weeks.

All the Gold tag and the Crystal tags actually have a nominal value that is far higher than the values they trade at, owing to them being used in the FW shops to trade for faction frig/cruiser ships, eg to get a faction cruiser you either trade LP and a crystal tag, or LP and 2m ISK. This would nominally value the tag at slightly under 2m ISK.

However, because the tags have been dropping throughout most of the Eve period and have never had a use there are piles of them in most people's hangars.

Would be interesting to know if demand for them for the faction ships outstrips the drop rate, and how long it would take for the stockpiles to deplete. I imagine it would take many many years to clear out the stockpiles that exist even if demand outstrips supply.

Of course on that basis none of that is really that revelant, as said above its likely a manipulation attempt or linked to a margin trader scam.

They are also required by one of the data center agents.
