You're right, it isn't about how we are successful managers. It's about what choices these people made when they had the entirely legal option of doing anything they wanted with these people, and chose enslavement. It's rather telling, given the staggering amount of options they had before them.

Well. They were rescued by someone working for an Imperial affiliated organisation in Imperial space. I guess expecting them to act like anything other than Imperials was impractical.

Incidentally Pilot Victorian. What Pilot Del'thul says is, indeed, correct. Various Minmatar capsuleer organisations have a lot of experience in helping people transition from slavery to citizenship. I would particularly commend Gradient's work in this field should someone need advice or assistance. They are also set up to handle large groups of people.

Then there are the baseliner organisations. My mother was a manager in Urban Management's resettlement division when she was alive. They also have a fair bit of experience in such matters. They just can't throw the same amount of money at the problem that a capsuleer group can.
