Is the Myrmidon worth getting if I have a Navy Issue Vexor?

Hey, fairly new to the game here and I was looking at my upgrade options down the Gallente drone boat line. I've been using the Navy issue Vexor for a bit now and I'm really enjoying it, I'm fitted out as a long range drone boat and use some Geckos for some serious damage.

Looking at the Myrmidon I noticed that it actually loses me 25mb/s of drone capacity which means that as I've been using Geckos I'm going to be stuck using either just 2 of them or one and a blend of heavy/med/light drones. I see that it has 5 gun slots but at the ranges I tend to battle I'm not too sure of their effectiveness

Anyhow I'm just not too sure if the Myrm is really worth it or if I should spend my training time working on getting the skills for the cruiser better. Thoughts?

As a note: Right now I'm playing more PVE

depends on what pve you're doing.

Null ratting, VNI is the king.

If you're in a situation where you actually need to rep, then you might need a myrm.

Only use the Myrm if you need to actually tank incoming damage.

VNI has more DPs and therefor more efficieny in missions and combat sites.

Vexor, Vexor Navy, Ishtar.

Myrmidons are for the fans of active armor tanking. I did try dual rep fit in lvl4's that was fun. Sentries and Arties would give you required range and comfortable distance.
