I was looking thorugh it....and it hasnt changed since Incarna.

Is this another abandoned element of eve?

BTW, I have 2000 Aur (dont know how I got it) . Iwas thinking of getting the goggles, but Im nearsighted and dont know if I can get them in prescription form.

Any advice?

It's probably not going to be expanded much until we are freed from our Captain's Closet which won''t happen until CCP gets their subscriber revenue back up.

There's a million angry citizens looking down their tubes..at me.

But isn't the point of NEX to increase revenue?

SUDDENLY PARADOXES

Only not really.

In that case, the whole NeX concept is a liability instead of an asset. Maybe it will just disappear one day.

The NeX did nothing positive for EVE so hopefully CCP will integrate the items into the game the way they should have always been, as player produced, LP reward, etc items and be destructible.

Nex (Cash Shop) / Aurum - removing sand from the sandbox since Incarna. Currently the only use for aurum is to buy virtual items in the in-game store, but Cockerill expects to expand its uses in the future.

I just quoted in another thread how even Hilmar's apology reminds us of how essential it is to EVE's survival.

On sisi there has been this very Solid Snakeish monocle for a while now, it's actually pretty cool and reminds me of the old Caldari eyepatch, I'd definitely spend my free Aurum for it, I'd even pay ISK.

Apart from that though, I doubt we'll see much, maybe a couple of things next year but I think CCP are trying to distract us from things like the NeX, because even them mentioning it seems to generate a copious amount of rage.

I'm also wondering if the people behind NeX content, the people who designed the avatar clothing, were part of the 20 percent of employees cut.

18 months.

Odyssey: Repacking in POS hangars for modules +1,  but please for other stuff too, especially containers. Make containers openable in POS hangars.

It is a shame and a waste for the people who made CQ, NeX and our new Avatars.

They should be jamming that store full of every useless piece of junk under the sun. In thier own words they sold thousands of Plex worth of the carbonware in there now.

I'm still hoping to simply get CQ invite options so 6 avatars can confrence. That and lots of avatar fluff in NeX? I'd call it a wrap for the immdeiate future and say go back to Crucible type content.

Than why would CCP give us 2,000 AUR for Christmas?

Do not assume anything above this line was typed by me. Nerf the Truth, it's inconvenient.

It's what they call a practical joke in Iceland. Specially if, as Mittens pointed, the NEx has been abandoned and nobody CCP wants to even talk about it. Twisted

BTW, I have been waiting for the "Structure" dress since Incarna...

One can hope...

Regarding you Aurum, keep it to bribe a Dust-Bunny

And regarding the people who where designing NeX clothing, that was all outsourced, so technically they can't even be fired.

Although they had some good ideas in the start they got carried away, with a islandic fashion designer I think.

Then went mad with aurum, NeX and I guess private fashion parties and played dress up with ZombieBoy...

Ambulation was a good idea, ruined by NeX and hubris. Now we have a stale, unoriginal, uncharacteristic badly made clothing (bad seems, untextured parts, no interior textures, etc)

Your guess is as good as mine, but a lot of people scoffed at that option in the christmas present threads.

I chose the remap since I still have my free AUR. The two NeX items I own I bought with ISK from the market, about 60,000,000 in total... not really that much for a permanent addition to your character and a hell of a lot cheaper than buying from the NeX itself.

I hope they at least give us the clothing that was seeded on SiSi a few weeks before Crucible. Had some nice stuff that I could get with the free aur from two accounts

There will be no survival unless major game balance corrections are made to eliminate the Meta-gaming Internet Club Syndrome.

Dream on Fanbois, but EVE is pushing up daisies as we speak.

That's the annoying part. All that stuff has been developed, is in working order and likely would only take 5 minutes to be seeded into TQ's NEx. Give 5 minutes more to cut prices down to MT standards (hack 60% or 80% from the prices, much as it's going on with their ISK prices) and there you go.

Minimum effort, plenty of impact.

Anyway i'm gonna take the 4,000 AUR fro my 2 accounts, not going to spend time looking at Jita to see what can be sold for a profit. If CCP trolls me, I'll be trolled in style, much as Zorba trolled his master...
