Looking to run with a few people, still very new; but I want to start branching out and doing more stuff. Currently in the Amarr/Caldari empire space, but willing to move with the right group of people.

You might want to let us know a bit about what kind of gameplay that you are interested in. Also check out the sticky in this sub forum I would link it but I am on my phone.

Currently, I've really liked more of the industrial/exploration side of things more than the combat side; but I haven't really specialized yet, I've been playing mostly nights, weekdays, US eastern time, like 10 PM onward, sometimes earlier.

I like playing the markets, hauling, exploring, scanning, probing, covert ops, mining, research, manufacturing. I'd be curious to check out some wormholes or deadspace complexes, or story arcs, etc.

Pure combat, PvE or PvP, really isn't my thing; I don't mind combat, just that's not what makes me log back in every day, if that makes sense?

I suggest my corp if you want to get into PvP. We have fleets every day and are very newbie friendly. SP minimum is only 2 mil. This thread would be more appropriate over there though. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=topics&f=265

Why not? I have to pay bills off eventually too, every extra dollar I get from anywhere helps pay off the bills and lets me continue my gaming habits. I don't actively advertise it anywhere, no forum posts dedicated to it, never spam my facebook, or twitter, or any in-game chats; I just use it passively, in my signatures, my website, bottom of my photos that I release to folk for free, etc.

I'm afraid I must respectfully disagree. At the top of this very NCQ&A subforum is a good sticky about finding a right corp.

Understood, but...sorry, no-one cares about you. People do, however, care about children.
As it seems to be that you are doing the link for your kids and not so much for you ultimately, it is my humble suggestion that you focus on them rather than you. Put the "I made mistakes as a kid" idea first.

Very well, point taken - most people it is.

Many, one would hope, anyway.
