POS Question - Allow Alliance Access

If you're in an Alliance and you have a POS set up, and you set it to allow Alliance access, how does that work exactly? Say an Alliance member wants to use your Mobile Laboratory for research, or say they want to use your Assembly Array to build something - where do they load the materials in, and where does the finished product end up?

Also, what sorts of "things" could the Alliance do with the POS? Could the offline/unanchor modules? See contents, take things out, etc?

Allow Alliance access is only for anything that does not require material.

This limits your option to most ME and PE research as there are some blueprint such as cloaking device bpo that requires material to research it. This is the only thing that alliances can use as far as lab goes.

As for Ship Maintance, I believe they can be setup to allow alliance to use fittings but I'm not sure on this.

If the Corp with the POS was being held by an alt with neutral standings, and we used a standing service to get 7.0, could alts enter the Corp for 5-6 days and then leave without affecting the standings and blowing up the POS?

If the alt has absolutely no standing whatsoever, he could join the corp and would not even affect it well beyond 7 days.

BTW: I read somewhere that someone confirmed that corp standing are now calculated at DT everyday.

Alliance cannot use most structures because they use an internal corp hangar. Some structures like Ship Maintenance Array can be shared. You can jetcan inside the force field, but can't anchor GSC.

You need standing only to anchor the control tower. You can online/offline or anchor/unanchor anything when it's done.

The standings would never drop for the corp if there is nobody in the corp to change them.

Standings are calculated daily at downtime based on members that have been in the corp for at least 7 days.

Having no standing in the character sheet, or null standing, is not the same as having neutral standing (0.0). Neutral standing affects the average.

Hello, can you please clarify just so I can make absolutely certain:

I make a Corporation with an alt that has absolutely no standings.

I use a standing service: A player with all 7.0 standings joins my Corporation for the necessary amount of time.

The alt holding the Corporation then anchors the POS Tower, puts in some fuel, onlines it, and places some modules.

What you're saying is: Once I anchor the tower, even if my Corp standings drop due to an alt with lower standings joining, the tower will still be operational, and I'll be able to online/offline any modules and jobs I need? As long as I never unanchor the tower, all will be fine? Even if standings drop?

I'm sorry, I just want to make sure, because I've invested a lot of ISK in operations.

You only need standing to anchor the control tower. Never again after that.

Thank you so much!

It's a bit disheartening to know that I have that vulnerability, but I suppose I will just have to work on the missions for standings. Thank you!
