Reddit and Twitter should not be your Corporate public notice and interaction points if you have a nice forum like this. You should be posting only links to the forum discussions on those accounts.

Both those social media platforms end up catering to the lowest level of human discussion and gutter speak.

I read things on both of them but I will never post there anymore. Tried it once, and I'd rather rip off my fingernails with pliers.

F12 -> Bug Report this. I know we've all put up with this forever, but this isn't a quirk or feature request. The client hanging or crashing for ANY reason is a flat out bug. If enough people put it in their tracker, maybe (the new and improved) CCP will actually allocate some dev time to fixing it.

Remember the time a Revenant was blobbed so hard the killmail crashes the client? Yeah. Ban killmails too! Or even better ban blobbing!

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

Let's not be crazy here. Opting out of having killmails in your character sheet is one thing, since it's zkillboard and that keeps track of your efficiency anyways. But removing them?

Half the PvP in EVE is motivated by Killmails. The Killmail is pratically a reward for the content starved PvPers! Removing them would turn half the PvPers into carebears!

On second thought, I'm surprisingly okay with that outcome! Remove them now! Yes!

EVE Reddit is a cesspool.

The downvote hivemind results in far more censorship than you get on these boards where the moderation is usually at the level of "being a jerk is OK, being reprehensible is not".

Reddit opinions wildly divergent from the "carebear who daytrips to null for fights" stereotype are moderated via downvote quicker than a rouge ISD could dream of doing.
