Today the aftermarket SSD drive containing my EVE online and OS crashed and has failed to come back online. I rebooted my late 2011 macbook pro 15 using the command+option+r keys to retrieve a new OS. Upon rebooting I downloaded EVE Online from the website and tried to run the program from my applications folder only to find it crash immediately. I got the following message immediately and the program didn't run at all.

EVE Launcher quit unexpectedly.
Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple.

I then tried deleting it and reinstalling with the same results. So I went into the library to purge the application/support/eve_online file but found that there was no eve folder created there to purge.

Heres the report for the crash:

The launcher does not work on 10.7.5 - the min spec is 10.9.

Your MacBook Pro 8,2 model, with 16gig ram, can easily run the El Capitan 10.11.4 operating system.

Just go to App Store, and Updates, and download/install it.

Unless you have a good reason to be staying with the outdated 10.7.5, it would be silly not to update to 10.11.4 and run the newest version of EVE.

MacPro (mid 2012) dual 6-core Xeon 3.06ghz, 64GB ECC Ram, PCIe-SSD, 2x SSHD, BD, SD, Nvidia Titan Xp. Running macOS Sierra 10.12.4.

Thanks guys, I figured it would've downloaded the most recent update from the beginning and didn't even think to check what version I was running. I'm downloading it now.
