Since its always your problem with an aspect of the game, you have to overcome.

There's actually quite a bit of EvE that I have issues with. However, I don't come to the forums asking CCP to hold my hand because something inconveniences me. I adapt, changing my play style as necessary, to overcome those aspects of the game.

Then you lack any desire to adapt and overcome, you simply want CCP to hand you your kill mails on a gold platter and for that I would say no the gate rats behavior does not need to be changed.

If the posts here are accurate then that other player, you know the one that got away was likely dealing with the same gate rats and they found a way to adapt and overcome and they got away in the process. Game working as intended is my thoughts here.

It never ceases to amaze me that when the carebears come here and complain about the NPC rats and the problems they cause you PvP types are all in with the adapt and overcome or get the hell out attitude. And yet now that those NPC rats are crapping on your PvP game play you want CCP to remove them because it is unfair and it makes it harder for you to shoot others. They call that being a hypocrite and for that I say no you cannot have the requested changes.
