Question about the future of POS's

Does anyone know what is going to happen to POS structures once they have been phased out?

Are POS modules going to be converted to some type of citadel module?

Are POS towers going to be converted into a citadel itself?

Nothing has been announced.

I suspect they be reimbursed just like all other items that have been removed.

They still have a unique role to play in the game and the citadels will need to be further developed in order to make them obsolete. So far that has not happened.

POS will remain until new structures achieve feature parity which will likely take a while - I get the impression they intend to reduce functionality over time as the new structures are introduced. They also expressly stated there will be a buyback program - in the structure presentation or round table, can't remember which.

I'm confident enough about the remaining life of POSes that I just bought and put up a large domination tower on the weekend to replace one of my medium towers.

will most likely be bought back for isk(removed from your hangar and some isk put in your wallet)
