new launcher patch 1038860 verification failure

my old launcher stopped working about 6 weeks ago
downloaded new launcher, worked fine till this patch
when i click Play,

verification failure
your eve client installation may have been modified, damaged, or corrupt files. Please run the repair.exe located in the eve directory or re-install the game client.
verification failed
\code.ccp', crc:bc61b420, expected:63c8bcad
\mapobjects.cb',crc25cee11e, expected:19c85fcd

so i find the repair.exe - it fixes the OLD launcher, New Launcher is still broken

any ideas on how to fix the new launcher, or do i have to wait for the next patch lol ?

Look for a folder, %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore - if it exists, delete any CCP or EVE directories in there.

users\xxxx\appdata\local\virturalstore is / was empty - no luck - same message when i click play

deleted the \virtualstore folder - no luck - same message when i click play

Can you send me your launcher logs?

Put the files from %LOCALAPPDATA%\CCP\EVE\Launcher in a Dropbox or Google Drive and send me the link in EVE mail.

I'll look for this tomorrow when back in the office. In the meantime, one thing you could try is to delete the tq folder under the shared cache folder. That will force the launcher to recreate it, and should resolve issues stemming from not being able to overwrite some files for any reason. Don't worry, settings are not stored in there.
