Can we turn off the new jump animation?

There is some rule of thumb in the business world: For every person who complains, there are 26 who have the same issue and do not complain. So, CCP Darwin, take the number of individuals both here, and in that 97 page thread who complained, multiply by 26, and that is the number who are having issues.

My guess is that new players have a much lower complaint rate. I wonder how many people do their first jump, get motion sick, hit command-Q and never return.

To what change are you referring? You mean the addition of the "new" jump animation as of the Odyssey 1.0 release on June 4th, 2013? Or some other change?

I believe that is what we are talking about. Visuals when jumping between systems. Odyssey brought the new visual which changes to first person point of view, aligns you to the back of the gate, then adds a 'hyper-warp' type visualization until you land at next gate. The warp effect is nauseating (literally).

I believe the thread was about functionality request (which has no impact to overall game mechanics), and not an invite for opinionated trolls.
