I am aware this is probably the wrong place to ask this but at this point i have tried everything else for around 3 weeks to a month now and im still unable to log into SISI. I subscribed to eve on my steam account around 3 years ago and until recently i have used this to log in. Due to this i did not have a password until around a month ago where i decided to create a password using the option in the account management. I had never tried to log into sisi before this but as i recently trained into a capital ship i downloaded the new client and have been trying to log into SISI to test this carrier before i buy it in Tranquillity. However every time i try to log in both with this account and with my alt account (which was never connected to steam) i get to the "due to logging in with from a new IP please enter the characters name" I do this and over the course of the month i have always received an error which states either the username+password is incorrect even though i had just used this to log into Tranquillity just fine a few moments before or the characters name is wrong. I also posted in the "Reactivate me" Thread a few weeks ago and am still unable to log in.

I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask this but i can think of anything else to make this work. Thank you for any help you are able to provide.

It sounds like you need to use the old school (pre steam and launcher) method for getting to SISI. It involves creating a copy of your entire EVE local files into a completely seperate folder, outside of CCP folders. The best option is to create the folder with the duplicate EVE files on your desktop. From there you will open the folder and find the launcher application. Right click and go to properties and set the target as /server:87.237.38.50

Also, if your account or character was not active or available during the last mirror, you will not be able to login unless you get some direct help from CCP to reactivity that toon on SISI.

I've gotten this problem as well but I'm on Mac OSX 10.11. Can anyone help me?
