Wars are dirty messy things. Assuming it was possible for anyone to just waltz in to HiSec, War Dec everyone, and assume there wouldn't be nasty repercussions would be a serious strategic mistake, probably along the lines of Hitler thinking going after the Soviets before he was dipping his toes into the Atlantic from an Irish shore level of strategic mistake.


It's been done before, including mass suicide against expensive targets. Every time niece players die, rage on forms, etc. Then people move on.

Been around since the beginning.

The problem with highsec wardecs is that the minute you fight back, you make "the list" and will get decced again because that's how starved for kills the hub-humpers are.

Ironic really, the best way to deal with them is to deny them content and use boredom, and weaponized boredom is a goon doctrine.

beating the ever living daylights out of them gets you on the other list though , and we are talking about goons here , not mercs

You're giving Goons too much credit, the majority doesn't even know where the undock button is unless they're in a fleet of 500 and being told what to do. They're not special or even decent, some might be but those generally won't do the alt deccing.
