Hello

I've known Eve since the day it came out, my older cousin always used to visit from time to time and always show me a new game to play. So back in 2003 it was eve. I've always been awe over the possibilitys in eve but this was 13 years ago! I was 14 at the time with no means of paying for a subscription. So I'd play on my cousins account when I was round or vise versa and I'd take a trial account. The problem was everytime I'd play I'd be so far behind him in skill I was very limited in what I could do. So as nearly every trial character does (I assume) I'd mine in hi sec, buy a small frig and get rekt or jump to distant places and get lost until the trial account expired. When it did I'd genuinely just stop playing for months, then I'd get that feeling in the back of my head. EvE, that lure. The scent is back. I want to play again. Mining was fun right? Let's do that! Let me just make a new email and I'll trial again. Rinse, repeat. This has genuinely happened until 2014, in 2014 we bumped into a few people in another game who played Eve this time I was in a job etc so I had money. I decided to resub to the first account I could get in to. Which happened to be this character from 2008. We played for a few months in summer with my cousin but we wernt feeling it as all they liked to do was grieve people at gates. But I had some skills leveled up and was able to participate. It felt good that part at least. So. World war bee caught my eye and I got that scent again to play. This time I did my research, I youtubed the war, the parties, the reasons, where to go who to join. And hit that resub button. I saw an offer so I thought why not. Applied for Pandemic Horde and moved to staging. It's been a blast, always tutorials, help and carepackages to get you started. And always felt welcome. This was the one thing I really needed to kick start me into EvE for ages. Still so very noobish and documented my progress so far. I hope these videos I did kick Start that fire I was lacking for so long. Don't miss the opertunity. Go play eve now!

You're not alone mate. I discovered eve in 2006 when I was searching the internet for games to play. I think I was 12 years old then. And like you I made tons and tons of trial accounts because I couldn't pay the subscription. But I never mined; I always did missions, collected enough isk, and then wondered into low sec to destroy my ship. It was awesome and I learned a lot doing this. Sometimes I would recruit "real" new players into the corps I was in at the time, and I would teach them a bit. And then my trial account would finish and I'd just watch them advance while I was back again at square one. So I would grow frustrated a lot and quit the game for a few months. But then I always returned. I always felt the urge, like something is missing. It's worth to say that eve is the only online game I've ever played. Besides it, nothing have filled my eyes.

Luckily, by December 2013, I seeked help from a player who was running a charity organization in eve. She helped me out along with a friend of hers by giving me 3 months worth of game time and inviting me to a FW corp where I could farm plexes to earn isk. I was so damn excited that I actually farmed isk nonstop for 3 days straight, which earned me my first plex (750m at the time)!! I grew so experienced in that short amount of time about farming plexes that I actually wrote a long guide about it for my corp mates :D

But then real life struck and I was unable to play for a while and plex prices went through the roof which made it even more difficult, so I couldn't pay back the gift of that amazing player. But now I'm doing incursions and money is rolling in like crazy, hopefully I'll manage this time to pay my debt.

The last thing I want to say is: Eve is awesome! Thanks CCP for creating such a game. Thanks to it and its community, I've learned so much more than what my 12-year-old self would have without it.
