With the new cap changes, I'm looking for a new archon fit (more damage based and no triage obviously)

Not a problem, click the flag above the text in your post and ask the mods in the text box to move your post to ships and modules. Problem solved!

i too am wondering, as i am new to caps in general and this throws a big wrench into the typical cap fit.

That's a Templar, an Amarr fighter used by carriers.

Ok, since no one else is wanting to step forward with even theorycraft fits.

Highs: 1 network sensor array, 4 fighter support units
Mids: 2 Capital cap boosters, 1 50000mn Microwarp drive, 1 sensor boosters
Lows: 2 Capital armor repair, 1 DCU, 1 Reactive armor hardener, Either plates in a fleet or hardeners if your solo.
Rigs: Anti-Explosive, Nanobot accelerator, Auxilery nanopump
Fighters: Adjust as you see fit, but you usually will go with light fighters if your target is tackled or use sirens to tackle targets on your own.
Ship maintence bay: Hoarders filled with 3200cap boosters seperated into several stacks

Key thing here, when you run out of cap boosters when tackled, send out a hoarder, destroy it with your fighters, loot cap boosters from wreck. This runs the risk of the enemy who knows better of just shooting the wreck, but you can keep fighting for a very long time.

Now I know someone is going to find fault in this, my preemptive response is to provide a better fit.

I'm liking the thinking...... just a shame I can't do it on a Navy raven lol

Law Number III: There are no lazy veteran lion hunters.

Law Number VI: A hungry dog hunts best. A hungrier dog hunts even better.

Law Number XXXVIII: The early bird gets the worm. The early worm....gets eaten.

If in doubt , SHOOT !

I'm avoid my bitterness about the uselessness of carriers and be helpful

I would drop the 4th FSU and use something like a nuet unless you are using it for the fighter tank the stacking penalty doesn't help much with the 4th one.

Also do you really find the active rep woth it on cariers now?

I would strongly recommend to anyone to have some superiority fighters in their a bay as well. They may say they are just for drones/fighters but they are more effective against frigs/desi than attack fighters
