CCP response requested: Are customs NPCs now ACTUALLY confiscating boosters in highsec?

The game mechanics in the past for customs have demanded a player turn over illegal material if they are caught by customs, but if the player refuses, they are attacked by the customs agents, but they are allowed to keep their cargo.

This morning, I was transporting some illegal boosters to Jita for resale, when I was scanned by customs as I was jumping OUT of a system. Like always, I told them to go **** themselves, and proceeded to jump through. However, when I reached Jita, my 50 boosters were GONE. Apparently, customs had actually confiscated my boosters anyway, after I told them to go to hell.

I would like to know, is this an intended game mechanic change, or is this a bug? If this is a bug, I understand these things happen, but my business will literally be CRIPPLED until this bug is fixed, and I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for an approximate time frame for this fix.

If this is not a bug, but an intended change, I will likely be cancelling my accounts. I really don't mind so much if CCP wants to change game mechanics like customs, but DOING SO WITHOUT TELLING THE PLAYERBASE IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! I had thought CCP was making efforts to be more in touch with the playerbase and not make significant changes to EVE without transparency. But if changes like this are an example of how CCP is operating, I find it speaks volumes about the credibility of how much they really care about EVE and the playerbase, and I will not support such irresponsibility and brashness.

Check your hold again - there should be a little note from the TSA saying you were inspected.

So I've been doing more testing to follow up on this, and I haven't been able to reproduce it yet. So I'm guessing it was an isolated bug? I have petitioned to hopefully get my drugs back.

I thought it might have been somehow tied to the Jump button and the new mechanics that automatically warps/jumps you if you click it from warp range, but I couldn't reproduce losing my drugs to customs that way either.

AFAIK They have ALWAYS confiscated Boosters, but not at a high rate.
Always ... Never ... Forget to check your references.   Peace out Zulu! Hope you land well!
