Is there some reason there is no built-in, in-game, ping monitor? It would be nice to be able to see when my connection is getting slow or unstable.

Ditto a command/response monitor from the client end to verify the server is operating.

There is a built in ping monitor. Pull the trigger and if nothing comes out of the gun for two seconds, then you have a pretty high ping.

If memory serves, the debugger is quite verbose about timing.

Does it still cause the client to hang for half a minute like it use to like I remember it use to do?

I'd try it instead of asking, but I honestly forgot the hot-key and am not logged in game right now to check anyways, so I'm playing the lazy card.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."
