Given that it's been 17 days and counting for CCP to help me find a solution to my problem I've decided to raise it up in the forums and may the angels help me out.

Original problem was when firing missiles from raven it sounded like the missiles were being fired from another distant location. I had to disable and enable the sound for it to function properly.

That problem has seem to go but moved to another race, so when i use my amarr confessor the sounds of the lasers do not sound normal instead they sound like a duck quacking like my friends said. I have asked CCP many times to give me the path to the sound files so i can delete them and get them re-installed but nope no answer yet to that.

If anyone has a solution or a workaround can you please help me out from the duck quacking all the bloody time.

I'm pretty sure this is intentional. CCP ruined gun sounds a long time ago for some reason. Instead of sounding fearsome and powerful they now sound like ... Well... Ducks quacking or Teemo firing his blow dart gun with extra spit.

CCP please make turrets sound less lame.

You are not wrong, since i've come back to the game I can confirm after looking at videos that it's not a problem but everyone has the quacking sounds for lasers. How horrible. I just saw a recent video of the war that is taking place in eve and yes they to also have the quacking sound.

This is disgusting, i'm sorry but lasers never use to sound like that some time ago. Do people ever get player feedback before they release things these days.

Apart form this what makes it worse is that it's also a throbbing sound, you don't want to hear that sound go off so many times even when you have selected "silent weapons" in the audio settings.
