Hello all.

I'm putting together 12 PI alts and have enough skill injectors to get all the PI skills to IV on all of them.

I'm curious about what OTHER skills are necessary to have a functional PI alt?

My plan is to use lowsec and/or wormhole space to mass produce coolant and robotics. They are for my own purposes so no market sell skills will be needed.

Thanks in advance!

After the obvious Epithal, I'd skill them for a Blockade Runner and DTS, obligatory in wspace. That also means covert ops modules, navigation, agility, cpu managment, overheating and rigs.

Talking strictly about PI, you may consider bringing Command Center Upgrades to 5. It opens up wider and more interesting scenarios in long and complex chains than having an extra planet (Interplanetary Consolidation 5).

Also, 12 characters making coolant and robotics..... not sure if serious. You'd rather make P4 and buy the pos fuel with the extra billions left lol

Good answer above.

I would add some basic Leadership skills if you are going to corp your alts up together. If not, leave be.

Thanks for the help.

If I already have a DTS/BR pilot, can I use her for all the transport or does the PI toon itself have to pick up the materials?

Again, Thanks. I'm really going for as hands off as possible. I don't want to have to log in much and there is a huge demand for robotics and coolant where I'm at.

As I learn more about how much each item demands timewise, I'll look into other options.

Nope, custom office's access is strictly per player, meaning your PI alt must access and export/import all the stuff, but it can also jettison them right away with your BR/DST alt sitting nearby. If you're doing it all in a single system I'd use a pos with a CHA (or other storage, like an office in station if there is any).

In any case, the golden rule about PI is: remember not to burn out! With 12 alts I'd say it's a matter or weeks rather than months P

What is a CHA?

EDIT: Corporate Hangar Array. Yes. Good idea.

Haha yes! Exactly why I want to have a minimalistic setup.

Really, I just have 12 empty character slots sitting around across all my accounts and want them to be generating something.

Train one of those alts to CCU V, that's your Factory Planet dude. My CCU V P1-P2 factory planets run two silos, two launchpads, 22 processors and I only have to fiddle with them every other day.

and yeah, don't burn out. I run six characters with PI and that's more than enough FarmVille In Space for me.

I consider "minimalistic" to be 3 characters:
