Bellicose Memorial Day

On the 29th of April it'll have been 2 years since the BraveCollective lost one of his best, brightest and most loved Capsuleers. John Bellicose was a friend, a teacher, an incredible man who inspired all who knew him to enjoy this amazing game. John tragically took his own life due to crippling depression. The fact that none of his friends and family knew he was suffering to that degree is testamemt to his quiet self sacrifice.

Many of us have lost an Eve friend, lost a player who taught or inspired, lost that wonderful individual who livened our Eve experience. The Funny thing is that most of us have lost someone and don't know it. John was the exception because his Mother took the time to contact us and tell us the sad news. Most of our lost friends just stop logging in, and we have no knowledge of their fate.

On April 29 the Brave Collective is organising an event to celebrate the lives of these lost players, these absent friends.
All are invited, all are welcome.


Friday 29 april Cyno vigil in I1Y-IU


Cynos have been used in memorial services across new eden forever, and this one will mimic the eternal flame. I expect people to try to come kill it. I expect people to defend it. If it goes out, we relight it instantly. I expect people will come to visit and light their own tributes.
This is a tribute to the people who've made the game great for us - so jump on and help us celebrate. If you're brave, help us defend the cyno.
If you're not, come plant your own cyno - drop a can with your friend's name, plant a depot, light your own cyno (we will try not to kill you), or try to kill ours.
This is going to be our chance to remember our fallen friends, to broadcast for reps, and to have a little bit of fun with it.


After the DT of friday the cynos will be lit and the vigil starts.
We continue until DT saturday.
