CCP. Let Chribba drop a station in Jita.

Chribba's a nice guy and he has helped me on several occasions when I needed a loan, without even knowing me that well...
I completely support this, the guy deserves this, he makes Eve better for all of us.
Not to mention that he's my freakin' idol in Eve, and I want to be just like him one day.

He is quite possibly the only player in Eve who is worth as much as his word.

The new station should be called *Chribba Appreciation Station*.

I would be willing to work my way up a null sec allainces entire leadership structure like in the Causality trailer just to give 1 system to Chribba

If they were to actually do this it would be terrible to put it in Jita. Put it in Magiko.

By the way, since we're already talking, do you want to buy a rifter? I've got the cheapest rifters in Metropolis. If you can find a cheaper rifter, buy it!

In my opinion the majority of people say they like Chribba without really knowing why.

One guy in this thread just said "chribba has done more for the eve community than the entire CSM combined". Thats a pretty ignorant statement.

Chribba has become a phenomenon. Yes he's a nice guy. Yes he is famous. Yes he's the genius behind eve search, eve offline and eve files, amongst others. Lets not forget about the third party service he offers and how apparently trusting he is (remember this is eve, are you sure he is who he says he is...).

So you think Chribba deserves a station in Jita.

For what purpose? So he can make more isk and have more alts for free? And if we give Chribba a station, shouldn't we give a station to the Dotlan Guy, The Influence map guy, the EFT guy, the Battle Clinic guy or the Evemon guy? In my opinion, all these people have made far more useful tools than Chribba, who has essentially archived the forums and rebranding existing non-eve services.

Let me leave you with this last piece of critical thought: Chribba has so much money, he can create an alt with no connection to him. Buy a character from the character forum, and join any aspect of eve he likes; including piracy, alliance warfare, scamming or ninja salvaging. "Oh Chribba is such a good, good, guy he would't do that", maybe but how do you actually know that, did your little fairy friends tell you? For all you know he could be eves greatest scammer, who has learned the first rule of scamming: Only the idiots out themselves to their marks.

Who knows what his eventual agenda is.

BUT if the concept of player owned stations in Hi-sec is being considered, he's probably the best guy to give it a go. But I do wonder how long he'd hang onto it before it got owned!

Supported, but I do think Chribba would rather have a station in Amarr so he can dock the veldnaught in it.

As awesome as chribba is. NO.
Two main problems.
Firstly if you spawn a new station in jita you have the: why should i use that over 4/4.
Secondly why should a player get it over any other player. and benefit from the endless income from even 1%tax


Now I am all for renaming the 4/4 station and altering it's model to reflect its time as eve's biggest trade hub

Although I really like chribba for his offered help on one of my market projects (that didn't work out eventually, but I had support and a handfull of ideas handed to me on a silver platter), I must say no.

No eve player should be able to have a station or outpost in high sec. Ever.

I'd be willing to agree to a giant veld roid looking like a station somewhere in space. But not a dockable one, just a monument for how cool and helpful he is.

In fact, I think eve needs more small monuments in memory of really good players who donated a lot to the community... Creators of eve mon and eve hq for example could have an obscure monument somewhere in space.

Ok, so Chribba is the only trustworthy person in eve and everybody likes to be like him?

Odyssey: Repacking in POS hangars for modules +1,  but please for other stuff too, especially containers. Make containers openable in POS hangars.

You'd have to be ******* stupid to believe someone with all that much money and influence hasn't used it for his own amusement.

He's not eve jesus and there is no such thing as a benevolent capitalist.


Nobody is trying to take away his achievements, he was truly the first "third party guy" even though he's never actually made anything other than some basic websites and gave away some free stuff (with no independent over sight). One of those websites charged hundreds millions of isk for a character name to be displayed What?

What would indeed be cool, is a new NPC station in jita with the Veldatar (Avatar titan) model, and added Chribba references (owner, some more RP stuff, named at w/e Chribba's avatar is named. But put the corp owner on ORE ofc. ) No player should have real ownership of a highsec station.

Just RP wise, as a tribute.
