I think that a new type of combat developed in W-Space should be designed. The Drone would be comparable to a T2 Medium Combat Drone but would use less bandwidth, have reduced volume bonuses as well as having damage somewhere between a medium and large drone and cost about half as a Gecko does.

Not everyone would be able to afford the new drones costing around 25 million each. The drones would have penalties such as a maximum control range of 30 km and tracking and optimal range penalities that would need to be upgraded through modules and rigs.

In high-end whs, sleeper mechanics kind of render any drone other than a gecko or sentry unusable. Losing 5 augmented Ogres in one site despite being super careful is not funny. Even geckos & fighters get massacred by sleepless guardians/sentinels with reps. The annoying part is that it renders a sizeable amount of ships pointless for high-end wh PVE and limits the options.

On the other hand, the moment we figure out something that works and stick with it, it becomes a serious issue and needs to be nerfed.

Reduce sleeper drone aggro to where it makes a bit of sense; as it stands using drones is far more costly than using autocannon ammo.

You still haven't said why you want this particular drone or what would be good about it.

Sooo basically you want Augmented Hammerheads? No prob. go to jita and buy them now ! I use them on some of my Gila fits and get about 700 dps just from the drone dmg. Add on some rapid lights and now you got a 1k dps gila
