On Eve, I have two monitors to operate my alts. However the second monitor seems to have a frame rate stutter problem when I start up.

It is only with Eve and it is only ever fixed when I change the resolution back and forth.

One monitor is a g-syn 2k 144hz monitor and the other is a regular 1080p 144hz monitor.

My testing so far shows the the stuttering can also happen on screen one but only if coming from the user preset that originated on two.

Can someone help?

Name changes are a fundemental feature for any sucessful MMO.

Could be a window focus issue. That's what it does to me if Eve is not the window being focused by my OS, so if other elements of other windows or programs or even the taskbar tooltips letting me know I've plugged in a pair of headphones causes my frames in Eve to dive like it's life depended on it. Normally I see 130-140 frames, but like I said when I Alt-Tab to check up on Win-Amp or GOM to switch music tracks (my keyboard's media keys kind of suck), Eve looks like I'm suddenly playing on no card and on a single core. Frames shoot right back up like a spring the moment Eve regains the focus and all other GUI elements from desktop are behind Eve.

I am playing on borderless window so I can have Eve stretched across both my displays, if that makes a different, though I've heard others have similar issues regardless of if they are in true fullscreen or windowed.

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."
