Hello to all members of the Market Discussions subforum. I come to you with a business proposal you might find difficult to turn down.

Firstly, a bit about me. I am Thermal Damage. A quick glance at my killboard will show that I have an extensive knowledge of all aspects of PVP, and that I fear nobody when it comes to combat.

Now, for me to progress to the next stage in my PVP career, I am looking at purchasing a limited edition AT ship, specifically the Chremoas. I am prepared to put forward 20bil of my own cash, and on top of this, I will purchase the fitting.

I will offer 80 shares in this ship for sale at 1 Billion ISK each.

'What will my investment earn me?' I hear you ask.

Well, all loot collected from my PVP kills will be split evenly per share and will be paid out to the shareholders. I am reserving 20 of these shares for my good friend Bumblefck. If he announces that he will not be purchasing them, then they will go back up for public sale.

Many thanks, please keep all discussion civil and free from trolling,

Thermal Damage.

I only require 80bil not 100bil

Thanks for your interest but I will not work with someone with such a poor grasp on numbers.

I must say the Chremoas really is the cream of the crop when it comes to choosing your targets and delivering the punishment to vaporise them. Absolutely top notch ship.

There are two problems, however:

1. You do not have the ISK to fund this level of PvP activity.

2. While your killboard is perfectly acceptable for small gang PvP activity, it is by no means exceptional. It's great to see your enthusiasm around small gang PvP, which is certainly some of the most fun in EVE. However, it is evident that you are trying to overstretch your means both in finance and experience.

Perhaps try moving to T2 ships as a first step eh?

Thankyou for your feedback. I have been told by many people that I am the best PVPer they have ever seen.

As for ISK, I actually do have the finances to cover this myself, however, it would take a sizeable chunk out of my trading ISK. Not only that, I am looking to gain trust with the fine denizens of MD for future opportunities.

You aren't going to get any funding. Just buy it yourself.

think you just shot yourself in the foot.

Openly admitting to the ability to fund this yourself but asking for others to do it for you with no collateral and the promise of ISK being returned as loot payout from shares.

Sorry to point that out.

It's an interesting thought.

However, as pointed out in an earlier post. One should not fly something One cannot afford to lose. If I were to use my own ISK for this project, it would hold my trading operations back fairly significantly. Also, by using crowdfunding, I keep my own ISK available to pay back investors if something was to go awry.

I am not a fool, I do not expect people to pay for something without any security.

You (allegedly) having some ISK in your wallet is not security. Neither is the ship you will be purposefully putting into the midst of pewpew.

But, given this is just a joke, you can be forgiven the technical inaccuracies.

It is just a joke, right?...........

You have trading operations?

Here is a link to Eveboard :- Thermal Damage Eveboard

You have a rather meagre amount of skillpoints invested in trading skills. 49,336 to be exact.

Good luck with your efforts to defraud the trading community Big smile

You are neither funny nor relevant. I'm not sure why you feel the need to comment on worthwhile and interesting investment projects in MD.

In any case., to the OP, in the interest of safeguarding a potential investment would it be possible to get a trusted 3rd party to fly the ship, say Chribba or Grendell?

Making New Eden a better place 8 rounds of Void at a time.

Funny, smartest, pretty and relevant. Pick 3.

The details will need careful consideration, but I am willing to discuss this possibility.
