Could we have the old strip miner effects, and sound back please?

I miss the old deafening roar of the strip miners. It was awesome when you got a good number of Hulks together. What were the reasons it got removed? Could we have them back? It was infact the effects that made me want to fly a mining barge. Story goes like this. I am in a system in Caldari State pecking uselessly away at space rocks when.... BOOM! ROAR! My first encounter with a Hulk. Scared the crap out of me as they were activated right above my head. I fell in love with strips from that point on. To me the sounds and effects then symbolized that no longer are you a bird pecking at a boulder, but you mean business when it comes to mining. So can we please have them back?

I try to be nice and mind my business just shooting lasers at rocks. There is just way too many asshats in New Eden for that to happen.

I think the blue lasers are not dramatic enough. You can't see them well from a distance. Before the blue, you could easily see a web of lasers from far off when a fleet was gobbling up a belt. I would love to see the old orange beams back in operation.

Yea i do miss being able to see the mining lasers from far off. Makes me sad now that when i warp into a belt of miners it appears no one is actively mining until you get close to them.

Plus its freaking hard sometime to be sure you are not mining the same roid as someone else.

So what you're saying is, you want someone to make mining more exciting for you, do I have that right? Possibly add some cool laser sounds and a big boom or two?

Well it is more like add them back.

thats exactly how it went for me... now everytime i use my mining drones a tear trickles down my cheek
definetly want the old lasers back. maybe some sort of animation to go along with it such as pieces of asteroid traveling within the beam. or the asteroids themselves actually decrease in size instead of just going poof... i think there is a ton of stuff ccp can do to make people dig mining. you guys make changes like every day what would be so hard about this one
