re-subbed after a 2 year break, I am this time playing Eve on my Imac Retina over Wi-Fi. My PC used to be in the exact same position as my Imac and I played Eve without any issues.

fast forward 2 years, my connection is now Fiber and a lot faster, but i'm now plagued with the socket was closed error message. I usually play from about 6pm to midnight UK time. had loads of other crashes ect but all these were ironed out by changing from cider to wine wrapper in the eve launcher.

current set up is

Imac 5 K retina
32gb Ram
Radeon R9 290x 2GB graphics card.
OSX Yosemite.
Using latest Wine wrapper

have filed a tech support ticket but it has gone un-answered. struggling to see me keeping my sub beyond the current month if I cant fix this.

please help :)

What is your ticket ID? I'll follow up on this.

If you haven't already, please attach logs from LogLite from a session where this happens. If you enable 'Run clients with logging' in the launcher settings, it will start up when you start a client. Once you get the error, save the log from LogLite and attach it to the bug report.
