Exploration Issues - Superior Sleeper Data Site

I found one of the Superior Data Sleeper sites in null awhile ago, and scanned it down almost instantly to 92%.

And then it stayed there.

And wouldn't change.

At all.

And don't get me wrong, I have great scanning skills and equipment (Explo Fitted Proteus) so I know that isn't the barrier. How do I get that last 8% without having to spend too long stalling? I know to move them manually but no matter what change I made it dropped or stayed at the same number.

For me, I require an Astrometrics rangefinding array on my Loki to get a Superior Cache to 100%.

That is in addition to max skills, scanning subsystem, sisters launcher, sisters probes and manual probe positioning. No implants though, a full set of virtue implants should substitute.

I can lock them with max skills and sisters gear in a T3 without implants; it's possible. Not sure if a Stratios would be enough for me though; the extra 12.5% bonus might make it impossible without an implant.

Link fit and your skills and we will talk about it.

@Thouncy
What is the the scan strength of you probes (fitting window->hover over your probe launcher->show charge info)?
To scan down a superior sleeper cache, you'll need a minimum of ~106 or 107 scan strength. And you will have to manually drag the probes closer together at .25 AU to get it to 100%.

With all Scanning skills maxed it can be scanned in an Astero without implants/scanning rigs/modules with a Probe strength of 103. You have to manually setup probes and narrow it down multiple times on 0.25 AU though.

I do not know whether Stratios has same stats - you cannot finish the site in a stratios anyway. As long as the rejuvenation batteries stay bugged, you have to use a very specialised Legion or Tengu if you want to reliably complete the archive room - I doubt it can be done in a Proteus.

You do not need virtues, virtues are actually needed only for combat probing 'unprobable' (i.e. very hard to probe) T3.

Those are much cheaper and give enough boost to replace the scanning rig:

I would think max skills, a cov ops, and bling scan mods should get you there.

Short of that, you just get sit and wish you could scan it to 100.

Max skills, scanning implants and stratios is sufficinet.
