Interval one (AMD)

With recent driver updates/patches crashes and other issues seem to have subsided however I've now got framerate issues.

With 2 clients running (AMD R9 390) in interval one, my fps seems to surge. The screen seems to speed up and slow down in a very regular pattern as if it's being way over throttled. The disturbing part is the FPS never hardly seems to even break 45 while I'm in space and that's on the active client screen. The inactive screen is even lower as has always been the case running 2 clients.

Previous to the patches and/or driver updates that seem to have corrected the other issues that have been mentioned in this subforum (missile issues, black screens etc.) I had no problem what so ever with active client FPS maintaining a steady 60 in space.

Now if I switch over to interval immediate it's a completely different story. Neither client has any trouble staying over 130-140 fps at all times.

Ofc I'm aware that interval one caps the frame rate, the issue is that prior to recent updates it was capped to a nice and smooth steady 60 fps. Now its a unplayable surging 40 fps (unplayable because of the very visually obvious surging.) Only way around it for me is to keep it on interval immediate which is ofc far more load on the video card. My temps are staying well within safe bounds so far but it's something I'd rather not have to do for general wear and tear purposes.
